In 1996, Jeff O'Block and his family purchased over 4 square miles of land in Rocksprings, Texas which is situated in Edwards County. Jeff is an avid outdoorsman who dreamt of turning that land into a place where he and his family could relax, hunt, and enjoy all of the natural beauty West Texas has to offer. Over time, he ended up creating much more...
Flash forward almost 20 years and you would now see a property that is home to some of the most beautiful whitetails and exotic deer in the state of Texas. The rugged terrain has been managed and cultivated to create the perfect West Texas oasis for these species.
Along the way, Jeff (with a little help from his friends!) expanded the accommodations of Rocking O Ranch to not only provide a place for he and his family to enjoy, but for hunters to experience the rush of the hunt & patrons to simply take a breath and relax.
Priority #1: Relaxation
Over the years, Jeff has taken measures that have evolved the Rocking O Ranch from ordinary to extraordinary. Rocking O is now fully operational and managed, complete with private rooms, a hospitality lodge, 13 hunting blind stations, on-site maintenance barns, cleaning stations, walk-in coolers, outdoor cooking areas, parlour games and recreational vehicles.
