Black Buck antelope are an exotic species in Texas and are therefore available to hunt all year. Rocking O Ranch has a rather large population of Black Buck antelope that vary in age, horn weight, horn length, and number of spiraled turns, so the opportunity of landing a trophy are very likely.

The hunter will arrive by 12 pm. Between 12-4pm, the hunter can get settled in his/her room, meet their guide, and relax at the lodge if desired. The afternoon hunt will vary based on the time of the season. Our guides will collect intelligence via game cams and select the location most suitable for your hunt. Guides will provide transportation to and from the blind, spot for you, and dress/skin/quarter your kill.

If the hunter does not see or kill a suitable target, the next hunt will commence prior to daybreak the following morning with the guide performing all the same tasks as the day before.

$499 flat rate: this includes accommodations for one night, 3 meals, use of the lodge, regular & adult beverages, full use of the shooting range, up to 2 hunt outings, and the guide fee.

$125 per inch for a trophy Black Buck antelope (horn measurement is taken from the longest measurement on the main beam).

$250 for an antelope doe (if shot with a trophy Black Buck- 17% discount)

$300 for an Antelope doe if shot without a trophy Black Buck

If you feel that your guide did an exceptional job, Rocking O Ranch encourages you to tip accordingly. Typically, tip rates average at 20% of the hunt's total price. Tips go directly to the guide and are not appropriated in any way towards Rocking O Ranch.

Disclaimer: If blood is drawn on a targeted deer and the deer cannot be located after diligent tracking efforts are made, the shot is counted as a kill and the hunter will be charged an approximated amount.
